The formulation of K-Seal is designed to ensure a fast and permanent seal of all holes up to 0.75mm diameter, and cracks of any length up to 0.75mm wide. Either of these are major failures, often with large coolant loss.
Earlier this year the engineering department at the University of Brighton tested K-Seal and other total coolant leak repair products, using the American Standards ASTM D-3147 test method.
